Cambridge Tests

Delivered by the prestigious English university of the same name, the Cambridge exams are a reference in the world. These consist of 5 tests, each corresponding to a different level of certification. Many schools around the world ask for these to validate certain types of diplomas or simply to enter a curriculum. The most common is the FCE (First Certificate in English) corresponding to level B2, whose 5 tests take place in 4 hours. For the higher levels (C1 and C2), the CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) and the CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) enable admission to English speaking Schools.

TOEFL test

If English is not your mother tongue, the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is used to assess your academic knowledge in this field. This exam is ideal for students wishing to enter a programme abroad, mainly in Great Britain, the United States and Canada. This is a very complete test, which consists of four tests (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing). Recognized by nearly 9,000 international schools and universities, the test has been successfully passed by 35 million people since its inception. This exam is scored on a total of 120 points, with a sore of 88 being considered a good result.

IELTS test

Similar to the TOEFL, the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is a general test which proves your level of English. And it recommended for those who wish to study or work in an English-speaking environment. Thousands of training centres and schools around the world recognize the validity of the test. It is therefore a gateway to international universities. The Immigration authorities in Canada, New Zealand, Australia require high IELTS scores before issuing certain visas.
