English teacher

The English teacher will be responsible for delivering high quality English lessons to adult learners using the Wall Street English methodology. The English teacher will also develop lesson plans, provide regular feedback to students and participate in training sessions as required.

Qualifications required:

  • English teaching and education skills
  • Experience in developing lesson plans and organizing high-quality lessons
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Experience teaching adults is a plus.
  • CELTA, TESOL or TEFL certification is required.
  • A valid Swiss work permit is required
  • Previous corporate teaching experience is an advantage.

Ambitious Language Sales Consultant

We are currently recruiting a dynamic, ambitious person with a passion for languages to join our sales teams in Geneva/Lausanne/Fribourg/ Montreux. This position can be 60% to full-time.

The Swiss Language Group, (Wall Street English, Swiss French School, Swiss German School) founded in 1988, continues to be a market leader in language training for adults and companies.

Your mission?

As a Language Sales Consultant your mission is to meet with people who have responded to our marketing efforts and shown interest in mastering English, French or German. You shall meet with them to explain and personalise a learning solution using our exclusive learning method. Once they start their learning project you shall follow their progress to ensure their success. You will deal with both private individuals and also HR professionals looking for corporate solutions.

  • You have a track record of success in sales (ideally selling educational products or other services) or you are a young person with a natural gift for meeting people and achieving your goals.

  • You are an excellent communicator, both in person and on the phone, and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.

  • You speak French and English very well (B2 level or higher). A functional level of German is an advantage.

  • You are disciplined, motivated and like to be challenged and achieve clear goals.

  • You like the idea of being paid a base salary, commissions and bonuses for your results.

  • You like the flexibility of your working hours and can work a couple of evenings per week until 20h to receive clients.

Part-Time-Student Jobs (Receptionist)

As a leader in language education, we are seeking dedicated and professional receptionist(S) to be the face of our organization and provide outstanding front desk support.

As a Receptionist at SLG, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, clients, and staff. We are looking for someone who can create a positive first impression, manage front desk operations, lead student onboarding sessions and perform various administrative duties with efficiency and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner

  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff

  • Manage the company’s front desk, ensuring it is neat and organized

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services

  • Schedule appointments and maintain student schedules

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping

  • Handle inquiries from the public and provide information about the company

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training is a plus

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk representative, or similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Availability at least 2x a week until 20:45
