What is the format of the IELTS test?

The IELTS test consists of four different sessions: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

Wall Street English training is designed to meet British Council standards. Through a combination of oral and written expression exercises, reading, and listening, you'll develop your English skills at your own pace.

Section Time Description
Listening 30 minutes This section evaluates your ability to understand spoken English in various contexts.
Reading 60 minutes This part assesses your reading comprehension skills by presenting you with a variety of written texts.
Writing 60 minutes In this section, you must demonstrate your ability to express ideas in writing.
Speaking 10-15 minutes This part assesses your ability to communicate verbally in English.

How is the IELTS score calculated?

You will be given a score for each test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The final IELTS score is the average of these four scores. The final score ranges from 1 to 9 points, with 1 being the lowest and 9 being the highest. This score certifies your English language proficiency level.
